I am a specialist psychiatrist with over 30 years of professional experience and I'm also involved in scientific work, teaching, ruling on disability, as well as substitution treatment.
If you are looking for a consultation or advice from an experienced psychiatrist in Bydgoszcz I warmly invite you to my private practice.
I receive patients at the WIDENT Private Clinic (www.wident.eu) on the Błonie housing estate in Bydgoszcz (with a convenient and large car park). The facility is very modern and my office is located in a secluded and undistinguished within the Wident Clinic building, providing a sense of privacy.
What I appreciate the most in my profession is that thanks to modern pharmacotherapy and a friendly conversations I am able to successfully bring back the joy of life, inner peace and harmony to my patients. In my work I'm always guided by the principles of professional ethics where the patient's welfare is the supreme good. Many of my patients who initially struggled with various problems or addictions, after completing therapy, are now again leading a rewarding personal and professional life. My offer is addressed to adults, young and older. If necessary I'm also conducting consultations in English. Contact with a psychiatrist should not be feared or treated as a shameful thing. In today's world, as a result of difficult life experiences, random events, excessive workloads or various responsibilities, many of us simply need professional conversation and support. It often happens that a psychiatric consultation is also needed by people with chronic somatic diseases and the deterioration of well-being in these patients may be the result of them experiencing their underlying disease and being concerned about their physical health. It is not worth condemning oneself or one's loved ones to experience anxiety and mental suffering, when a good psychiatrist can help you.
I am a graduate of the Medical University in Poznań. I graduated in 1982. In 1989 I received the title of a Specialist of Psychiatry of the second degree. I obtained a PhD MD scientific degree in 1991, at the Medical Academy in Bydgoszcz and in 2001 received a postdoctoral MD degree. In 2011, I received the title of the associate professor of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz.
I am currently working in the Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, where I'm leading the Department of Psychiatric Nursing, as well as in the Department of Psychiatry of the A. Jurasz Hospital in Bydgoszcz, where I coordinate the work of the Department of Addiction Treatment and in the SUE RYDER CARE HOME private health care institution in Bydgoszcz. Independently I am a certifying psychiatrist of the District Disability Evaluation Board in Bydgoszcz.
